This was my last year in school. I could not belive what had happened to my best friend. Brinker came down into my room and told me to go with him to the Butt room to meet his father. So i told him that i would and so i went with him. Brinkers father gave us lectures on Why we should serve in the war and such. After brinkers father leaves i tell Brinker that i will enlist in the war but i will not fight for devon. I will enlist somewhere elese. Brinker said that was fine. Thats how my senior year at Devon ended. |
